Sigulda Robot Cup – February 22^nd, 2020

We are encouraging to apply for participation to Sigulda Robot Cup, which will happen on the 22^nd of February 2020 at Sigulda Secondary School, Kr.Barona street 10, Sigulda.

Aim of event is to encourage youth and students to participate in engineering and robotics.

DISCIPLINES

SACENSĪBU DISCIPLĪNAS:

• LEGO Sumo (two age groups 1.-5.grade, 6.-12.grade pupils)
• LEGO Folkrace (1.-12.grade pupils)
• LEGO Linefollowing (1.-12.grade pupils)
• LEGO Linefollowing labyrinth (1.-12.grade pupils)
• MINI Sumo (Two age groups - 1.-12.grade pupils / students and amateurs)
• Folkrace
• Linefollowing (two age groups - 1.-12.grade pupils / students and amateurs) (without TURBINES and with TURBINE).
• iRobot Sumo
• MakeBlock challange
• VEX (two participants in team)
• Drone race
• Freestyle

Participation in this event is free of charge and there are no limits to the number of registered robots, team size or age of the participant.

Robots can be registered until the 19th February. We strongly encourage that you register in time, so we can plan the competition timetable precisely.

Photographing and filming will happen at the event. Participation in the event means the participants are giving the consent of photographing and filming.

Participants must bring change shoes.

Participants will have access to preparation space.

Mini sumo and iRobot sumo participants must have gloves and at the time, when the robot is not on the ring, use a protector on the blades, in order to prevent others from injuries.
